Avery is 14 years old. She lives in Michigan and trains at her home studio in Indiana. She is a 3 time National Solo Champion. She has been on the TV shows, America’s Got Talent and Dance Moms. She is currently a dancer for the Detroit Piston’s NBA team. In her free time, Avery likes to model, act and hang out with her friends! She is honored to be the Detroit Teen Apprentice for WILD!
Hailey Willis as been dancing since the age of 3. She started competing at the age of 5 and has never looked back. Hailey has won numerous scholarships and title awards including Miss KAR, Miss Nexstar, Miss Revolution, Miss Platinum, Stage One, and Miss Showcase of Stars. Hailey's training includes ballet, pointe, contemporary/modern, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and acro. She has also taken master classes from professional choreographers Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Kenny Wormald, Twitch, Denise Wall, Allison Holker, Stacey Tookey, Jaci Royal, and Anthony Morigerato. Hailey is a freshman at The Ohio State University and is a member of The Ohio State Dance Team.
Hayley is currently enjoying her 10th year of dance. Hayley has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Hayley trains and competes with Renner Dance Company directed by Summer Renner Disher. She also takes ballet classes at International Ballet Academy. Hayley trains in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, acro and voice. This past summer Hayley placed in the top 7 at NYCDA Nationals for Junior Outstanding Dancer, earned the title of Junior Miss World Dance at the World Dance Pageant and was selected to be a member of the 2018 Beat Squad. Hayley is very excited to be an apprentice at Wild Dance Intensive this fall!
Hello My name is Jocelyn Mastro, I am 15 years old and reside in Newark, DE. I have been dancing competitively for 12 years at my home studio Encore Dance Academy and have been dancing, modeling and acting professionally for 8 years. I am well versed in all genres of dance and have been told my passion is what sets me apart. I hold numerous regional and national titles, have worked in commercials, opened as a dancer for artists such as DJ Kool, Carson Lueders and the Kidz Bop tour, appeared in Music videos, TV sitcoms and movies and this summer was named an All-Star dancer for NESDC in Massachusetts. This year, I have had the opportunity to be the sole Choreographer for a new TV pilot series set to air this season. I am most passionate about Choreography and the storytelling creativity I can create. I travel around the United States and abroad teaching master classes and setting choreography pieces for dancers in the competitive market and attend a prestigious arts school with concentration majoring in Dance and Choreography. I am so excited to be a part of the WILD DANCE INTENSIVE family and look forward to learning and growing with you all this dance season. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity.
Katie has been dancing at That’s Danicin’ in Middle Village, NY since she was three years old. She trains in ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip hop. She has been named national champion, title winner, and has won numerous special judges awards since she began competing. Katie was also a member of the Brooklyn Cylcones Pee Wee Dance Crew and has attended the Joffrey Dance Intensive.
Katie spends almost 20 hours a week in the studio, all the while maintaining over a 98% average and is President of the National Junior Honor Society chapter of her middle school.
Lexi is 14 years old and has been dancing competitively for 5 seasons. Lexi has won multiple titles, is part of Immabeast and has performed internationally in Cuba at the Cuban Ballet. When asked her favorite genre of dance, her reply "I love them all!" Currently Lexi favorite thing to do has been to dance in LA which she goes a few times a year. Lexi is very excited to be a part of WILD apprenticeship❤️
Maggie is 12 years old and in 7th grade. She has been dancing since she was four years old at Artistry in Motion Dance Center. She trains in all styles of dance, but especially enjoys Contemporary and Jazz. Throughout her dance career she has received many awards. Most recently she was recognized as a RADIX Core Performer, and won a year long scholarship as a coveted WILD Dance Apprentice. Maggie aspires to be a professional dancer someday.
Maura is excited to join WILD this year as a Sr. Apprentice! She was born in Orlando, Florida and began her dance training in ballet at age 5. In the coming years she moved to Oviedo, Florida and joined the Starz Dance Company strengthening her training as she added jazz, hip hop and contemporary to her skill set. Once she entered high school she was asked to join the Oviedo High School Mane Attraction Competitive Dance Team. At 17 years old she is currently a senior member of SDC at her Studio and now an officer for the MADT team. She is a titleholder and a very accomplished competitive dancer in the solo and group divisions with both of her teams. Maura has taken a strong leadership role with both of her teams in her Sr. year. She lends her expertise in the area of strength and conditioning training and choreography for many of the performance routines with the Mane Attraction Dance Team! In addition, she proudly subs hip-hop and has contributed choreography in contemporary for her Starz Dance Company. Her academics are at the forefront of her mind as she would like to attend a college dance program next fall.
Rachel has performed as Clara for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes in New York City for the past 3 years and will again be dancing the role this holiday season. She is a ballet dancer in movie The Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman. She has also performed at Lincoln Center with the Little Orchestra Society. She was first runner-up at The Dance Awards and NYCDA Nationals in 2018. Her solos have placed first overall at many dance competitions, including winning 3 national titles: Miss Junior Imagine, Miss Junior Starpower, and Miss Junior StarQuest. She is also a YAGP New York Finalist. Rachel has modeled dancewear for Gaynor Minden, Discount Dance Supply, Capezio, A Wish Come True and Costume Gallery.
Meghan Yancy is a 15 year old honor student with a heart for dance and a desire to instill that same passion in others. Meghan began her pe- professional level of dance training at Gainesville Dance Center 5 years ago. She trains daily in ballet/pointe, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, tap, and acrobatics. Meghan was named by Stacey Tookey as her choice for "Die Hard Dancer" and was also awarded "Wild About You" by Zach Heller. In 2016, Meghan was a dancer in Matt Steffanina's DanceCon DC concept video. In her spare time, Meghan teaches competitive hip hop to a team of 6 and 7 year olds. She hopes to pursue a career touring the world as a professional dancer before returning home one day to open her own studio.
Ellie Ackley has been dancing since the age of 3, and has studied ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, modern, heels, ballroom, musical theater, and improvisation. She currently trains at Big City Dance Center, has been a member of a Detroit-based hip hop crew, and has attended many dance intensives, workshops, and classes in Detroit, NYC and LA. Ellie has won numerous awards and top scholarships at various competitions/conventions, and this past season was awarded Wild Apprentice, Transcend Tour Ultimate Transcendent, ASH Apprentice, and WCDE Teen Elite Dancer Detroit. In addition to Wild, she will also be seen assisting classes at Transcend Tour for the 2018-19 season. She is excited to join Wild this year to learn from some of the best choreographers in the industry and get to know other dancers who share her passion!
Kaitlyn is an 11 year old from Ashburn, VA. She has been dancing since the early age of 3. She trains at Studio Bleu Dance Center in all genres of dance. She also trains with her ballet repertoire company, The Art of Technique. Kaitlyn has won awards and top scholarships at several conventions/competitions. She is thrilled to be a Wild Apprentice this season and learn from the amazing Wild Staff. She is also excited to build friendships with her fellow Apprentices. She is an ambassador for iDance4aCURE and travels the country raising funds for childhood cancer research. Kaitlyn has also modeled for Glamour costumes and Inferno Dance.
Eliana is 14 years old and from New York City. She trains in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, musical theater and hip hop. Eliana was a competitive dancer for 10 years with Star Struck Dance. She currently attends LaGuardia High School and Broadway Dance Center Children and Teens Program. She recently became a part of Theresa Stone’s company, AbstraKT Beings. Eliana also enjoys training in her theater classes which include drama and vocal. Eliana is very excited to be a Wild apprentice this year and cannot wait for the season to begin!
Steph has been dancing since she was 3 years old and is currently training to pursue a career in dance. She trains in all styles of dance, but has a passion for contemporary and hip hop. She trains 5-6 days a week and has worked hard to achieve goals that she sets for herself. She has danced at Radio City Music Hall three times and performed her solo opening night of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She has also performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as on Broadway at the Chita Rivera Awards. She loves attending conventions and having the opportunity to dance with her friends from around the country and assists at many conventions around the United States. Steph worked as an assistant this past summer at Joffrey Summer of Hip Hop and states it was one of the best experiences of her life!
She is most proud though of her work as an ambassador with the organization idance4acure. This organization allows her to use her love of dance to help raise much needed funds for childhood cancer research. She feels strongly about giving back and bringing the dance community together to make a difference.
Steph currently attends Fiorella LaGuardia High School as a dance major and trains weekly in her training company Z Artists Group. She is looking forward to another amazing season as a Wild Apprentice!
Kaitlin Passaro is 19 years old. She is currently a WILD apprentice as well as a Pulse Protégé. Presently she is a teacher and choreographer for Dance Expressions in Pennsville, New Jersey. You can see her dancing with Matt Steffanina in Dancecon 3 NYC and Dancecon 4 DC. She previously was a company member at Millenium Dance Complex in Philadelphia. Now she is a member of Creative Reaction dance company who was recently a finalist at the World of Dance Competition in New Jersey. She enjoys traveling to different cities to broaden her dance education, meet new people, and gain new experiences. She is excited to be apart of the WILD dance family!
I’m 18 years old and I’m from Staten Island, New York. I just graduated from LaGuardia High School, better known as the “Fame” School, but I’ve been dancing since I was three years old. I’ve been trained in all styles of dance, but my two favorites are hip hop and contemporary. I’m so excited to be an apprentice at WILD this season because WILD is such a fun and inspiring convention where you can truly dance your heart out with an INCREDIBLE and supportive staff! I can’t wait to dance with all of my friends this season!
Kelly is a 17 year old senior from New Jersey. She took her first dance class at the age of three, and dance quickly became her passion. Kelly trains in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Musical Theatre and Vocal Technique at Broadway Dance Theatre, her home studio, and she competes as a member of their Elite Dance Company. In addition, Kelly loves traveling around the country to take class from numerous professional teachers and choreographers which has given her many special opportunities.
Kelly is thrilled to be a WILD Apprentice! She has always loved the atmosphere and the wonderful faculty and staff at The WILD! Kelly is so thankful to be a part of the WILD family in this special way!
Joey is 14 years old from Reisterstown, MD. He trains in all styles at Studio Bleu Dance Center in Ashburn, VA. He has been dancing since he was 6 yrs old and has never looked back. In 2015, he traveled to Reisa, Germany with the American Tap Company to represent the USA at the Tap Worlds. His trio won a gold medal! The following year Joey played Grover Dill in Broadway tour of A Christmas Story. This past year Joey became a Power Pak apprentice as well Teen Mr. World Dance and the World Dance Pageant. In Nov/Dec of this year Joey will be returning with the American Tap Company to Reisa for the Tap Worlds. He will also be traveling with the American Dance Company to Warsaw, Poland for the Jazz and Contemporary Worlds. He so excited to be part of the WILD Dance family!!
Eileen Salvato is a 17 year old dancer from Edison, NJ. Her love for dance began at the age of three and has become her greatest passion.
Eileen trains in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, tap and musical theater at The Jill Justin Dance Alliance, where she competes on the studio’s elite dance company.
Now a high school senior, she has studied modern dance for over 3 years at the Middlesex County School Of The Arts at East Brunswick, NJ.
Eileen won the title of Miss Teen Dance Revolution in 2014, Miss Dance Revolution in 2017 and in 2018 as well. She is also a former WILD apprentice from 2015.
Eileen loves to take class and learn from professional teachers and choreographers from all over the country. Her experiences with these inspiring artists, have opened her up to many opportunities in which she’s thankful for.
Eileen is extremely happy to be a part of WILD, and is super excited to be an Apprentice! The positive environment, amazing energy, faculty, and staff at WILD is what she loves most! Eileen is grateful to have this opportunity to work and be inspired by this wonderful family!
Claire is a 15 year old Freshman from Virginia. She started dancing at 4 years old and has been working on growing as a dancer ever since. Claire currently trains with Studio Bleu in Ashburn, VA and before that she spent 10 years with Gainesville Dance Center. She has trained in all forms of dance but is especially passionate about Contemporary and Jazz. Claire is known for her turning and technique, and one of her most influential coaches refers to her as the “Machine”. She has received several awards, scholarships, and accolades during her competition and convention career including, Petite Miss Beyond the Stars and her Wild Dance Apprenticeship. She always wants to be her best, be with the best, and help people become their best.
Alexis is 14 years old. She has been dancing since she was 8. She trains and competes with Lents Dance Company. Alexis attends A.W Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a dance major. Alexis is very excited to be a Wild apprentice this year!
Natasha Camacho is a 17-year-old dancer who has attended Dancers Burlington, a division of Camiara Dance Inc., for the last fifteen years. She trains in all forms of dance, but especially enjoys Contemporary, Hip Hop and Ballet. In 2016, Natasha trained at the National Ballet School of Canada and was invited to attend the full-time program. Natasha won the opportunity to travel to Spain to perform at Cita Con La Danza at the International Festival in Benicassim, Spain where she shared the stage with several semi-professional and professional companies from all over Europe. She received the prestigious title of Miss Teen World Dance in 2017. Not only does Natasha participate in numerous national and international competitions each year, she is also a member of the SynthesisTOO professional dance company under the direction of Tracie Stanfield. Natasha is also honoured to have recently received the title of Prodigy from the Artistic Dance Exchange.
