Madison Marshall is a 13-year-old dancer from Midlothian, VA. She dances as part of The Collaborative competitive dance team at Encore Studio. She has been dancing since the age of 3 and trains across all genres ranging from ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, tap, acrobatics and hip hop.
Madison enjoys traveling and dancing around the country. She recently served as an Assistant for Artists Simply Human from 2018-2019 and as a Pro-Reveler Assistant from 2017-2019 with Revel Dance Convention. Madison has received accolades at different dance conventions/competitions including: Future Hall of Famer National Champion in 2015 at Hall of Fame Dance Challenge Virginia Beach Nationals, Junior American League National Champion in 2017 at Hall of Fame Dance Challenge Virginia Beach Nationals, Junior MVA Top 5 in 2017 and Junior MVA Top 10 in 2018 at Velocity Dance Convention and Competition Nationals , 3rd Overall Intermediate Soloist in 2018 at Artists Simply Human Nationals, Hall of Fame Dance Challenge All Star and Hall of Fame Dance Challenge Junior American League Inductee in 2017 and 2018 and the Teen American League Inductee in 2019. Additionally, she has won tour scholarships from Velocity, Jump and Radix and training scholarships for NYCDA, Millennium Dance Complex, Artists Simply Human and 2 Days in the OC. This summer, while attending Artists Simply Human 2019 Nationals, she won the Dance Spirit Future Star Award to be featured in an upcoming issue of Dance Spirit Magazine.
In addition to dancing, Madison is actively involved in her middle school as an SCA member and officer, and cheerleader. She was recently inducted in the National Junior Honor Society. Madison works with amazing companies and organizations such as Tiger Friday, Purple Pixies, MadiMac Dancewear, Artkeh Dance Photography and with the non-profit organization, Ballet In The City. She actively supports this non-profit organization and raises money and awareness for their scholarship programs for dancers who want to further their training in ballet and bring ballet via performances and training to the communities at large.
Madison has such a love and passion for all styles of dance and looks forward to continuing her training. She is extremely excited and honored by the opportunity and selection as a Wild Dance Intensive Apprentice. Madison looks forward to training with the incredible WILD Dance Intensive faculty this year!
